What is an Emergency Leave in COL?

Emergency leave in Colombia (COL) is available to both probationary and regular employees when they encounter an urgent situation that occurs during or immediately before their scheduled shift. This leave is meant for exceptional circumstances that require immediate attention.


Duration

The maximum duration of emergency leave is limited to three consecutive days. Emergency leave is considered paid time off and will not be deducted from the employee’s PTO balance. 


How would this look like in my invoice/billing?

This will simply look like an employee is paid on a normal working day and will not have a separate breakdown in your invoice.
