What is Overtime Pay?

An Overtime Pay must be pre-approved and all requests must be agreed to (in writing) by both the employee and you prior to it being worked on and completed. Once the overtime is completed, the employee must file it within twenty-four (24) hours in FiltaHR and must be approved by the manager.

The only paid OT hours must meet the three requirements:

  • Pre-Approved in writing
  • Approved by the manager in FiltaHR
  • Must be verified based on the actual time logs

Since an overtime pay is an additional pay given to the employees for working beyond their working hours, this will be reflected as an additional cost in your invoice. The amount will be depending on the number of overtime hours and the hourly overtime rate of the employee.
