What is a Bereavement Leave in COL?

This leave applies in the event of the death of a close family member, including a spouse, partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, in-law, or stepfamily of the employee in Colombia (COL).

5 working days of paid leave.

My employee is not yet a regular employee, are they eligible for this?

Yes. All employees are eligible for bereavement leave. Must be supported by the birth certificate of employee, birth certificate or ID, and death certificate of deceased person.

How would this look like in my invoice/billing?

This will simply look like an employee is paid on a normal working day and will not have a separate breakdown in your invoice.
