What is An Advanced Leave?
Advance leave may be requested by probationary or regular employees with zero (0) leave credits, either for a client holiday shutdown or for other reasons mutually agreed upon between the employee and their manager. Simply, it's a "borrowed" leave. An employee can request advance leave, but approval is up to their manager.
How will this look like in my invoice?
- This will simply look like an employee is paid on a normal working day and will not have a separate breakdown in your invoice.
- Managers need to be aware that employees may leave prior to repaying advanced leave, and if this happens, the advanced leave cannot be recouped and should be considered a loss
